Prior to setting up CSA, Sarah led the UK export promotion brief at the UK Film Council (UKFC) as Head of Export Unit for seven years, having previously been the organisation’s Head of International Marketing. She was also Head of Marketing at the British Film Commission (2000 – 2003) to which she moved from her post as Festival Director for the Birmingham International Film and Television Festival, which she headed for six years. Prior to this she ran her own company McKenzie Associates for ten years delivering a range of contracts to the creative industries.

The Film Society of the Lincoln Centre, UK Film Council and Emerging Pictures present From Britain With Love, an ambitious showcase of UK indie movies showing on multiple screens in digital cinemas near you from June 11 to July 9 2011 in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, Boston, Philadelphia, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, and Miami, along with live and ‘virtual’ webcast in-conversations with key talent from the films.
From Britain with Love is a partnership between Film Society of the Lincoln Centre, UK Film Council, Emerging Pictures, Creative Screen Associates and BAFTA New York.
The six films chosen to participate are: NEDS, In Our Name, Toast, Third Star, A Boy Called Dad and Africa United.
